Clearwire Expands to Orlando

Kirkland-based Clearwire announced over the weekend that it has opened up its network in Orlando, Florida. According to the provider of wireless broadband services, its 3G network in Orlando covers 1.4 million people, extending north to Lake Mary, south to Kissimmee, east to Waterford Lakes, and west to Winter Garden. Clearwire has been on a major expansion push in the last few months.
