    Clearwire Names Exec


    Kirkland, Washington-based Clearwire has appointed Scott Richardson as Chief Strategy Officer, the firm said today. Richardson was most recently a VP at Intel's Mobility Group, and was reponsible for Intel's broadband wireless efforts. Clearwire, whichi s headed by Craig McCaw, is developing a wireless high-speed Internet service based on the WiMax wireless standard.
