Seattle-based Clipboard, the developer of an online service which lets people save and share websites in a virtual "clipboard" online, has raised a round of strategic funding. The funding came from Scientia, a company in the educational technology space. Size of the funding was not announced. Clipboard's existing venture backers include Andreessen Horowitz, Index Ventures, Crunch Fund, SV Angel, Betaworks and Draper Fisher Jurvetson. The firm is headed by Gary Flake. Clipboard's service lets users clip out and share pieces of web sites. More information »
