CloudCoreo Collects $2.9M For Cloud Security
Seattle-based CloudCoreo, a stealthy developer of cloud infrastructure and security management software, has raised $2.9M in a seed funding round, the company said on Tuesday. The funding was led by Madrona Venture Group, and also included Divergent Ventures, Aristos Ventures, and Data Collective (DCVC). The startup is led by Tom Hull (F5 Networks), and was co-founded by Paul Allen (CTO) and Jason Needham (CMO). Needham was at F5 Networks, and Allen had served at Convio and Blackbaud. The company has not detailed what it is working only, only that it is creating "a next-generation solution for managing and securing cloud infrastructure". More information »
