Seattle-based CMC Biologics, which provides contract manufacturing for the biopharmaceuticals industry, said today that it has acquired the acquisition of a Bay Area, manufacturing facility previously owned by XOMA Corporation. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. CMC Biologics said the large-scale manufacturing operations and affiliated assets are in Berkeley, California, and spans 31,000 square feet.
