    Confirma Adds $17.5M In Funding


    Bellevue-babsed Confirma, a developer of computer technology for MRI analysis, said Tuesday that it has raised $17.5M in a Series C venture capital round. The round was led by Telegraph Hill Partners, and also included Fluke Venture Partners, Northwest Venture Associates, Prism ventureworks, and Versant Ventures. Confirma said that Dr. Tom Raffin and Jeff Calhoun of Telegraph Hill and Denny Weston from Fluke have joined the firm's board as part of the funding. Confirma is developing a systems for automated analysis, reporting, and interventional planning on breast MRIs.
