Context Relevant Raises $1.3M For Big Data Analytics




Seattle-based Context Relevant, a new startup headed by Stephen Purpura, said this morning that it has raised $1.3M in a seed funding round. The funding was led by Madrona Venture Group, and also included angels Geoff Entress, Mike McSherry, Cliff Kushler, and Mark Illing. Context Relevant explains that it is developing a new system to help unlock Big Data, by providing capabilities which previously required a large, highly skilled, and expensive team of data scientists.
