Cozi Scores Investment From Gannett

Seattle-based Cozi, a provider of a web service for managing family schedules and communication, has scored a round of funding from newspaper publisher Gannett Co., Inc. Gannett announced the funding this morning, saying that it will receive a minority stake in Cozi, and a seat on the firm's board of directors. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. Gannett also said that it will market the Cozi brand and products throughout its media channels, including flagship paper USA TODAY and its other 85 daily and regional newspapers and 23 television stations. The investment follows a major win with Gannett in February, where Cozi inked a deal to private label its service to Gannett papers. More information »
