Cozi Turns To Rubber Ducks For Record Setting Promo

Here's one way to attract attention as a startup: recruit 17,782 rubber ducks to get you set a Guinness World Record. Seattle-based Cozi organized a Guinness World Record effort yesterday at Warren G. Magnuson Park, lining up 17,782 rubber ducks for the "world's longest line of yellow rubber ducks"--part of a promotion of the firm's family calendar and organization service. The firm said the effort included more than 80 volunteers and a mile long line of ducks. Cozi is also now running a summer contest around rubber duck photos to help promote its service. Cozi's mobile and web calendaring service is targeted at helping families manage their day.
