Cray Launches Lustre Storage Product

Seattle-based supercomputer maker Cray said Tuesday that it has launched a new, storage product based on the Lustre file system. Cray said its new product, Cray Cluster Connect, works on x86 Linux clusters, and gives customers access to Cray's storage expertise in the big data and supercomputing space. Cray said the new product includes hardware, networking, software, architecture and support, and works with any Linux x86 cluster.
