Crowd Factory Raises $6.5M

Crowd Factory, a provider of social marketing applications which has its roots in Portland, announced today that it has raised $6.5M in funding. The firm, which is now based in San Francisco, said the funding was led by Storm Ventures and also included prior investors Hummer Winblad, Peninsula Ventures, and angel investors. Crowd Factory was co-founded in Portland. Crowd Factory provides social marketing applicatoins used to increase the social aspects of web pages, emails, videos, advertisements, and more.
