Datacastle Buys Seagate's EVault

Seattle-based cloud backup provider Datacastle said Tuesday that it has acquired the assets of Seagate's Evault Endpoint Protection software, from Seagate Technology, in an asset purchase. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. Datacastle says it has been offering up Seagate's software as an OEM offering since 2010. Datacastle provides backup, archiving, and other services of endpoints to the enterprise market.
