DeepRockDrive Gets $3M For Entertainment Service

DeepRockDrive, a Seattle- and Las Vegas-based online entertainment service, said Wednesday that it has raised $3M in a seed funding round from a group of angels. DeepRockDrive said that the firm's co-founders, Jeff Henshaw and Danny Socolof, joined David Goldberg and Bill Curbishley in funding the firm. David Goldberg was the founder of Launch Media, and was general manager of Yahoo! Music; Bill Curbishley was the manager of The Who and Robert Plant. Henshaw was most recently at Microsoft, as executive producer of the Xbox 360. More information »
