    Demand Media Raises $100M

California-based Demand Media, the firm that is building a business around Bellevue-based eNom, has raised $100M in a second round of funding, the company announced today. Demand Media maintains significant operations in Seattle. The new round was led by 3i and Oak Investment Partners, and also included Spectrum Equity Investors. The firm is headed by former MySpace Chairman Richard Rosenblatt. The company said that it would use the funding to increase the company's organic and strategic growth. Demand Media has been purchasing domain name parking and web content sites, and recently acquired eNom, a Bellevue-based domain name registrar and internet services provider, and Seattle-based HillClimb Media, a developer of niche web sites.
