DFJ Frontier Opens Shop In Portland

DFJ Frontier, one of the affiliate venture capital firms of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, is announcing this morning that it has opened up a new office in the Portland area. According to the fund, it has tapped Eric Rosenfeld and Bob Ward--cofounders of Capybara Ventures--as venture partners for the firm's new, $55.4M fund, located in the firm's new Portland offices. DFJ Frontier previously had offices in Sacramento, California and Santa Barbara, California. In conjunction with the announcement, the fund disclosed that it has already made and investment in Seattle-based Delve Networks.
