doxo Adds Healthcare Providers

Seattle-based doxo, the online bill payment and management service headed by Steve Shivers, reported late Firday that it has added health care providers across 40 hospitals and 3,000 physicians to the service. The firm said the groups added to the service included the Saint Luke's Health System, Advocate Health Care and Advocate Medical Group, Novant Health, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, University of Illinois Medical Center, Rockford Health System, and Rush-Copley Medical Center. Doxo said its service will allow patients to receive, review, and manage their medical insurance documents and pay their medical bills. Financial impact of the additions was not announced. Doxo is backed by Mohr Davidow Ventures, Sigma Partners, and Bezos Expeditions.
