Electronics Manufacturer Lays Off 300 In Oregon

California-based TTM Technologies, a manufacturer of printed circuit boards, said this morning that it has laid off 300 employees at its plant in Dallas, Oregon. The firm said it is transfering PCB production at the site to other sites in Utah and Redmond, Washington. TTM had acquired the Dallas manufacturing site as part of its acquisition of Tyco Printed Circuit Group, which occured in October. TTM said that employees will be offered severance and other benefits, and will pay approximately $2.6M in severance in the first quarter of 2007.
