Portland-based video transcoding product provider Elemental Technologies has added support for YouTube live streaming, the firm said this week. Elemental said that it has integrated Elemental Live with YouTube Live streaming workflows, which allows its customers to create and synchronize YouTube Live events for encoding on its platform. Elemental said that its customers World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), NexGen Networks (NGN), and others have been using the product to deliver video streams to YouTube Live. The product allows content producers to take live HD feeds and braodcast them across multiple, adaptive bit rate streams on YouTube Live.
