Elemental Selected For IPTV Delivery Effort

Portland-based Elemental Technologies said Tuesday that it has been selected to provide video services for IPTV operator Canby Telcom. According to Elemental, its products are being used to help create a channel on the Roku streaming platform for delivery of local, broadcast channel to Canby's subscribers. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Elemental develops video transcoding products which help convert videos between different formats, a key part of streaming video.
