    Elemental Technologies Raises $1.05M


    Portland, Oregon-based Elemental Technologies said today that it has raised $1.05M in seed funding, for the firm's multicore-accelerated video processing technology. The round came from the Oregon Angel Fund, and also included the Bend Venture Conference and Seattle Alliance of Angels. According to Elemental CEO Sam Blackman, the firm will use the new funding to fund commercialization of the company's video platform.
