En Masse Launches First Mobile Title, Fruit Attacks

Seattle-based videogame developer En Masse Entertainment, best known for its Steam-based MMORPG TERA, said it has released its first mobile title, called Fruit Attacks. The new title--think "Galaga" meets "Fruit Ninja"--runs on iOS, Android, and Amazon Kindle Fire. En Masse is led by Chris Lee. Lee said in a blog post that the move into mobile games is an "exciting new chapter" at the company, pointing out the move is part of an adaptation to "changing conditions" in the gaming industry. Many PC-based videogame publishers have had issues making the transition to a market dominated by social and mobile games.
