EnergySavvy Gets $7M In New Funding

Seattle-based EnergySavvy, the developer of cloud-based, energy efficiency software, has raised $7M in a new funding round, the company disclosed today. The funding came from Prelude Ventures, Pivotal Investments, and others. EnergySavvy supplies its software to utilities, who use it to run energy efficiency programs. The company is led by Aaron Goldfeder, a technology veteran who previously worked on Windows XP, the Dot Net Framework, Local Search and other programs at Microsoft. Leo Shklovskii, the company's CTO, was previously at Amazon.com, Redfin and D.E. Shaw. Karl Siebrecht, the company's Chairman, was the CEO of AdReady. More information »
