Erado Acquired By Zix

Seattle-based Erado, a developer of archiving, eDiscovery, and compliance software, has been acquired by Zix Corporation, the two. Zix, based in Dallas, is a provider of email security software. Size of the acquisition was not anounced, however, Zix said it expects subscription revenue from the acquisition to contribute approximately $1.5 million. Zix said Erado has more than 18,000 customers across the financial services vertical. The company said the buy will help it add advanced archiving and compliance capabilities to its offerings.
