Evri Launches Attack Machine
Seattle-based Evri launched a--somewhat violent--new example project Monday evening, Attack Machine, which the firm said automatically generated content using the firm's technology around top attackers and victims in particular categories such as animals, locations, weapons, and politicians. The site uses the firm's API to automatically generate the content, using linguisitic analysis of news, blog, and other web content. The site's content Monday evening included automatic links to chimpanzee attacks, alligator attacks, and more. The firm likened its system to a "army of 7th grade grammar students" searching through the web.
