Expedia's TripAdvisor Invests In FlipKey

TripAdvisor, the online travel and hotel review web site owned by Bellevue, Washington-based Expedia, said Wednesday that the firm has purchased a majority stake in BOston-based FlipKey.com, an online vacation rental review site. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to TripAdvisor, FlipKey features 50,000 vacation homes in all 50 U.S. states. TripAdvisor said that it expects FlipKey's content to be integrated into TripAdvisor.
