Portland-based Extensis, the software developer which is now a unit of Celartem, said today that it has added support for the iPad in its latest release of its Portfolio Server software. The software--used to convert digital video between formats--now supports searching for, playing, and downloading digital media from the iPad, conversions to web and mobile device formats, and support for OS X Lion, among other updates. The software is used for digital asset management. Portfolio Server competes with Final Cut Server.
