    F5 Joins VMware Partner Program


    F5 Networks Inc., a publisher of application optimization and delivery software, announced Tuesday that it has joined the VMware Technology Alliance Partner program as a Select Partner. Membership, F5 explained, allows the Seattle-based company to gain use of VMware's testing software, marketing tools and technical support for any technology integration between the two companies. VMware develops proprietary virtualization software for desktops and servers. Its products are available in both retail and freeware versions.
