    F5 Adds Joyent


    Seattle-based F5 Networks announced today that its products have been deployed by cloud computing vendor Joyent, as part of a virtualized server offering. F5 said that Joyent has deployed its BIG-IP web traffic management products as part of its cloud computing service. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Joyent is a provider of cloud computing services, which allow users to create virtual servers and scale out web applications without requiring buying and maintaining a hardware and data center. F5's products are being used to manage caching and other related web acceleration features for Joyent.
