    F5 Adds Online Retailer

Seattle-based application delivery software publisher F5 Networks Inc. revealed Monday that an online shopping network has adopted F5's BIG-IP WebAccelerator application. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. F5 explained that WebAccelerator will help Ritz Interactive Inc.'s network of Web sites serve their content to customers faster and more reliably. Headquartered in Irvine, Calif., Ritz operates several camera- and outdoors-themed sites, including RitzCamera.com, WolfCamera.com, CameraWorld.com and BoatersWorld.com. F5 said Ritz selected WebAccelerator for its optimization and compression capabilities and for its ease of deployment and configuration.
