Seattle-based F5 Networks has launched two new products for its customers, saying that it has launched a new set of DNS services, and a network-based IP security product this morning. F5's new DNS services help IT teams handle response to DNS queries and application requests; the firm's new IP Intelligence service helps screen out threats to enterprises by screening out malicious IP addresses. Pricing on the two new services was not disclosed. The DNS service comes via F5's BIG-IP Global Traffic Manager product; the IP intelligence service is integrated into F5's BIG-IP software.
