Bellevue-based F5 Networks announced this morning that it has signed on a major life insurance firm, Standard Life, as a customer. Size of the win was not disclosed. According to F5, the deal with Standard Life involved the firm's F5 BIG-Ip Application Solution Manger and F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager devices. F5 Networks is based in London, and provides life insurance, pensions, investment management, banking, and healthcare insurance worldwide.
