FigurePrints Brings World of Warcraft Characters Into Reality
A new Redmond startup, FigurePrints.com announced today that it has officially begun to offer its niche gaming service. The site, which was founded by former Microsoft Games studios Vice President Ed Fries, caters to subscribers of Blizzard Entertainment's popular online role-playing game, World of Warcraft. The service allows video game players to create a 3-D statue of their characters from the online role playing game. The firm said that for a fee of $99.99 per figure, gamers can have FigurePrints create real-life 3-D statues of their virtual WoW characters. WoW is a best-selling online role-playing game, with more than 9 million subscribers.
