Finsphere Gets $11.3M

Bellevue-based Finsphere, a developer of identity analytics technology used to secure wireless customers, said Monday afternoon that it has raised $11.3M in an investment. The round was led by Vodafone Ventures. Finsphere siad that Vodafone's Tobin Ireland, Group Director of Commercial Development, joins its board along with the funding. The company's prior investors, Mohr Davidow Ventures, Shasta Ventures, and Frazier Technology Ventures, also participated. The firm said the funding will go to expanding its platform and growing its strategic partnerships. Finsphere's technology is used for mobile authentication of credit and debit card transactions, new account applications, online banking, and other mobile applications. More information »
