FlightCar Expands To Seattle After $13.5M Round

FlightCar, a peer-to-peer car sharing company which lets people rent out their cars from the airport when they are away, said this morning that it is expanding to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), which will be the company's fourth location. The new location--which will open this fall--comes after it said it has raised $13.5M in a Series A funding today, in a funding led by GGV Capital, which also included General Catalyst Partners, SoftBank Capital, and First Round Capital, as well as Comcast Ventures and Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin. FlightCar previously only offered its service at SFO, BOS, and LAX. More information »
