FlipStart Ships PC
Seattle-based FlipStart Labs, a technology incubator that was founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul G. Allen, said this week that it has begun shipping a new, super compact PC called the FlipStart. The clamshell-based super compact PC started shipping Monday, and is targeted at mobile professionals. The new PC features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.1Ghz Pentium M processor, and runs Windows XP Professional. The new compact PC measures 5.9"x4.5"x1.35". The product is the first commercial offering from Allen's FlipStart Labs.
