FLIPT Takes On Property Investments

Bellevue-based real estate startup FLIPT has emerged out of stealth mode, and is taking on Zillow's property value algorithm, the Zillow Score--calling the fellow Seattle startup a "fixer-upper". FLIPT, which is led by Andrey Nokhrin, said it has create a property investment site and decisio making engine which helps consumer figure out if they ought to fix up and "flip" their house, buy and hold, or rent out the property. The company said it is hoping to become the "CarFax for real estate." The company has disclosed that it is funded by Dave McClure, Rudy Gadre (Facebook), and Sujal Patel (Isilon), among with others.
