Flowboard Finds $750K For iPad Presentation App

Seattle-based Flowboard, which develops mobile presentation apps for the iPad, has raised $750,000 in a funding round, the company said this week. The company said the funding came from several angel investors. As part of the investment, Vijay Vashee--who was at Microsoft, and formerly was GM of PowerPoint--will join the company as a strategic advisor and investor. Flowboard is led by Brent Brookler. The company's iPad software lets users create and show presentations on their tablet; the company says it has nearly 150,000 registered users. More information »
