Forks Finds Funding

Seattle-based Forks, which develops a location-based, restaurant coupon app for iOS, says it has scored a round of funding. The funding came from Northwest Capital Consulting. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. Forks develops its app in conjunction with such online coupon sites as Valpak, Groupon, Restaurant.com and LivingSocial, helping to distribute coupons to users based on their location.
