    Infinia Raises $7M


    Kennewick, Washington-based Infinia said today that it has raised $7M in a second close of its Series B financing, bringing the company's total Series B raise to $57M. The firm said the second close was led by Foxconn Technology Group, and also included another, undisclosed investor. Infinia said the funding will go towards large scale production and launch of it solar generation product. Infinia's photovoltaic systems use solar concentrator technology targeted at both end users and utility-scale solar power. Foxconn is a contract manufacturer serving the consumer electronics industry.
