    Name Intelligence Acquired By Domain Name Firm


    Seattle-based Name Intelligence, a provider of domain name tools for domainers and domain name owners, has been acquired. Los Angeles-based Thought Convergence, a provider of tools for the domain industry, said it completed its acquisition of Name Intelligence Tuesday. Financial terms were not disclosed. Name Intelligence operates DomainTools, a collection of online tools for researching and buying domain names, and also runs the Domain Roundtable conference. Name Intelligence is headed by Jay Westerdal, who joins Thought Convergence as part of the acquisition; the firm will remain in Seattle.
