SecondSpace Opens Canadian, UK Sites

Online real estate marketplace SecondSpace Inc. revealed Wednesday that it has officially launched three Web sites for residents in Canada and the United Kingdom who are seeking a second home. The firm said the new sites will offer more than 600,000 properties, including new developments, luxury condos, villas, ski chalets, cottages, ranches and acreages throughout the United States, Canada and more than 40 other countries. SecondSpace explained that all three sites are powered by its scalable Web services platform, which sorts property listings to determine those that match "second home" criteria. SecondSpace is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington and is venture backed by Ignition Partners.
