    MathStar Hires Investment Bank, Looks Towards A Sale


    Hillsboro, Oregon-based semiconductor firm MathStar said Wednesday afternoon that it has decided to engage an investment banker to "explore strategic alternatives." The firm did not provide further detail in its efforts to find a buyer. The firm did not say which investment bank the firm has hired. MathStar is a developer of programmable logic. The firm said that there was no decision if or when the firm will "engage in a transaction."
