Smilebox Debuts Photo-Sharing Software for Mac

Photo-sharing software publisher Smilebox Inc. unveiled its Smilebox for Mac application today. Smilebox said the new application, which supports Mac OS X Leopard and OS X Tiger, grants Mac users an easy way to share their photos and videos. The Redmond, Wash.-based company noted that Smilebox integrates with iPhoto and iTunes to simplify image importing—users may even drag and drop media from one application to another. Mac owners use Smilebox to create scrapbooks, greetings, slideshows, photobooks and postcards, and the application enables them to share their creations via printing, e-mail, blog, Web site or social network. Smilebox is venture backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and Frazier Technology Ventures.
