![]() Tuesday, July 22, 2008 Geospiza Inks Deal In FloridaSeattle-based Geospiza, a provider of software for automating data from genetic testing, said Tuesday that the firm has been selected by the University of Florida. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed, however, the firm said that the University will use the firm's FinchLab product to manage its Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research (ICBR) Next Generation DNA Sequencing Laboratory. Geospiza's tools are used to manage gene sequencing workflow and laboratories; the firm recently added Dr. Leroy Hood, well known for his work inventing the automated DNA sequencer, to its board of directors. posted on Tuesday, July 22, 2008
