    Microsoft Shuffles Division, Loses Exec

Microsoft Corp. said Wednesday evening that it is splitting up its Platforms & Services Division, the group which handles its Windows operating system and Internet efforts, and has lost President Kevin Johnson, who is leaving the firm. No reason for Johnson's departure was given. According to the software giant, the company will split its Platforms & Services Division into a Windows/Windows Live and Online Services group. Both will report to CEO Steve Ballmer. Johnson is reportedly becoming CEO of Juniper Networks, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.
