Cray Wins $12M Supercomputer Contract
Seattle-based supercomputer maker Cray announced this morning that it has scored a $12M contract to provide the Finnish IT Center for Science with its next generation "Cascade" supercomputer. Cray said the new system will be used for science and research across Finland. The Center for Science (CSC) is Finland's high performance computing facility. The system is expected to be delivered in 2014.
