Zaarly Launches Seattle Recommendations With Storefronts

Zaarly said Friday that it has launched a new effort in Seattle, called Zaarly Storefronts, which will feature local entrepreneurs and recommended local providers in a new, online marketplace. Zaarly said the new Storefronts effort features the "most talented and trusted service providers" in each of its markets, with the new Seattle site featuring local entrepreneurs a way to list and sell their skills and services. The new Seattle effort comes on top of similar, existing Zaarly Storefronts efforts in San Francisco, LA, New York and Kansas City. The new feature comes on top of Zaarly's existing peer-to-peer marketplace, which lets local service providers and others offer up their services based on their location. The company, headed by Bo Fishback, is venture backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Sands Capital Ventures, Ashton Kutcher, Felicis Ventures, Bill Lee, Naval Ravikant, Lightbank, SV Angel, Paul Buchheit, Thrive Capital, Marc Ecko and Michael Arrington.
