Amplero Gets $8M

Seattle-based Amplero, a developer of marketing tools to help gauge a customer's lifetime value, such as in the case of acquiring wireless customers, has raised $8M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Wildcat Venture Partners and also included Globys/Trilogy Equity Partners, Salesforce Ventures and Seven Peaks Ventures. The company is led by CEO Olly Downs, and is a spinout of Seattle software company Globys, which develops billing software.
