    Getty Images Adds Music Licensing


    Getty Images Inc., a creator and distributor of digital photography and imagery, announced Monday that it has launched Soundtrack, a music-licensing service. Getty noted that its recently acquired music-licensing property, Pump Audio, developed Soundtrack. The service, Getty explained, grants customers access to more than 20,000 original tracks authored by independent artists and bands for use in advertising, broadcast, film production and other projects. Getty added that it plans to soon expand its Soundtrack catalog to include major labels and publishers. Getty Images is headquartered in Seattle.
