    Getty Images Completes WireImage Acquisition


    Seattle-based Getty Images said today that it has completed its acquisition of WireImage. WireImage is a provider of celebrity, entertainment, and sports photography. The deal also included MediaVast, the owner of WireImage, which also operates FilmMagic and Contour Photos. Getty Images is a provider of photos, imagery, and other artwork used by newspapers, magazines, advertisers, and others. The deal was worth $200M in cash.
